Our first concert of the new 2023 season kicks off with a refined selection of piano music by pianist Mihai Ritivoiu. Mihai is the laureate of the prestigious George Enescu International Competition in Bucharest and a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Musicians. A carefully curated programme, with a sophisticated sense of connection: from pre-classical and contemporary miniatures by Couperin and Dan Dediu, to the exquisite music of Chopin and Schubert and, finally the magisterial George Enescu. The David Lloyd George Room will be transformed into a veritable fin de siècle salon of music and poetry.
